Callaghan College Waratah Technology Campus has always designed and implemented learning opportunities that are rich in technology to ensure that students are well prepared for a rapidly­ changing world and workplace.

We are dedicated to the use and integration of BYOD. The teaching staff are keen and eager to use these resources to their full potential. The staff at Callaghan College Waratah Technology Campus, have embraced the use of mobile devices as a significant component of learning processes.

BYOD hardware

The purchasing of devices can be a confusing process so we have developed this guide to assist you in ensuring your device is suited to the needs of the learner and is compatible with our infrastructure.

BYOD software

Software is available to students through the DEC licensing agreement, software from Adobe and Microsoft fall under this agreement, for download and installation instructions please review the following:

BYOD sign up

Students who wish to participate in the BYOD program they must have read the FAQ and agreed to the conditions outlined in the User Agreement. These agreements must be returned to Mr B.Peters or Miss A. Boswell in the CAPA staffroom before use within the school. Upon return of the User Agreement students will be advised on their best method of connection to the school’s wireless network.
