Waratah votes for our 2021 School Captains

Our Year 9 students nominating for School Captain 2021 presented their speeches to our school community today in our first whole campus assembly this semester.

 

All eight  students represented themselves, their families and their fellow students exceptionally well. Their speeches were well crafted and engaging and were delivered with poise and eloquence. 

 

All our candidates have worked very hard over recent weeks crafting their speeches,  practising and honing their presentation skills, discussing the qualities and responsibilities of leaders and learning about assembly protocols as part of our School Captain Leadership Training Program. 

 

"All our candidates should be exceptionally proud of themselves, " said Ms Clerke, Program facilitator.

 

We look forward to introducing our 2021 School Captains at our Presentation Assemblies in Week 10.
