In the lead up to Harmony Day 2020, our school community is putting together a Taste of Harmony recipe book.
The purpose of the book is to share and celebrate each other’s cultural heritage through food and stories.
We are so lucky at Waratah Campus to have one of the most culturally diverse student populations of any school in the Hunter region and we see this as one of our school’s greatest strengths and something we’d like to share with the broader community.
Want to get involved?
We’re asking our staff, students and families to submit a recipe and recipe story for inclusion in the book. Ideally, a family favourite, or one that has special meaning to you and your family.
We are also asking that you share a photo or illustration to go with your recipe. If you don't have a recipe, short stories are also welcome!
To submit your recipe or story, simply download and complete the Recipe Submission Form and email it to helen.thomas28@det.nsw.edu.au.
You can also submit hard copies to the front office.
We need all recipes by the 28th of February.
