On the 15 February 2021, our Year 8-10 Student Representative Council was introduced to our school in a formal leadership induction ceremony.
The team, consisting of our four school captains and 13 students from 8-10, will join our Aboriginal Student Leadership Team and EALD Student Leadership Team to represent the voice of students in school decision making. In addition, the team will be responsible for positively influencing our school's culture, representing our school in our community and leading by example.

As part of their induction, the students pledged the SRC Oath which they collaboratively developed as one of their first tasks as leaders:
As SRC, we will be:
- A voice to our peers. We will not just represent our school, but our community with pride.
- We will support Callaghan Waratah’s student students and staff, not only through thoughtful speech but through thoughtful action.
- We value all aspects of an individuals because together, in unison, our differences can create a positive impact on our society.
We wish all our leaders all the very best in their leadership responsibilities for 2021.
