Our campus was alive with colour last week for Harmony Week. Thank you to the students who participated in our cultural fashion parade, showcasing traditional outfits from around the world - including a Tongan crown, Filipino shawl (pañuelo), Nigerian dress (bubu), Yizidi dress, Afghan girls’ dress ensemble (kalaa Afghani or partug kamiz) and Afghanboys’ clothing (Perehan tunban).
We also celebrated our rich cultural diversity through the Ribbons for Harmony art project. Colourful ribbons with personal messages are still flowing in the wind on trees around our campus, creating a vibrant reminder of our commitment to respect, include and welcome everyone in our school.
