Year 8 2021 EXCEL Elective Expo

As part of our EXCEL elective program all Year 8 students will study one elective subject in addition to their 7 core subjects.

The EXCEL elective program is unique to Callaghan College and gives students an opportunity to deepen and extend their learning in an area of interest, or get a taste of a variety of subjects that are available in later years of high school. 

Year 8 students will spend six hours a fortnight as part of the regular school timetable on their EXCEL elective.

To assist students with their decision making we are hosting a Year 8 2021 Elective Expo and information session for all Year 8 students. In this session they will hear more about the electives on offer  and get any of  their questions answered.

The Expo will take place during periods 2 and 5.
