Welcome to Callaghan EXCEL 2021, an exciting, new Year 7 elective program designed to give students the opportunity to explore and discover beyond the standard high school curriculum.
In Year 7 students study 1 EXCEL elective in addition to their seven core subjects. Students will spend four hours a fornight as part of their regular school timetable on their Year 7 EXCEL elective.
EXCEL electives are organised into five streams or pathways of study. Our X-Streams are for students who wish to specialise in a specific area of interest or talent, whereas our TASTER stream offers students variety through a wide range of hands-on subjects.
