| Monday 6th to Friday 24th May 2024 | ASPIRE Interviews and Year 7 Deputy Principal visits to primary schools. |
| Monday 13th May 2024 | Got Questions About High School? Information session for Year 5 and 6 families (4:30pm-6pm) |
| 27th May - 31st May 2024 | Learning and Support team will meet with Year 6 teachers to discuss Year 6 students' learning and support needs. |
| Friday 5th July 2024 | Deadline for acceptance of ASPIRE place offers. Deadline for Year 7 2024 online enrolments for students in PPS Learner Profiles completed by Year 6 Teachers (This may extend into week 1 of term 3) |

| 23rd-26th July 2024 | Distribution of Year 6-7 elective selection information to primary schools. |
| August 2024 | Great Start program for mainstream students with additional support needs - 13th and 27th August - 9:30AM - 11:30AM (morning session). Parents session 9:30am-10am on 13th August 2024. Great Start program for mainstream students with additional support needs - 13th and 27th August - 12:30PM - 2:30PM (afternoon session). Parents session 12PM - 12:30PM. Great Start program for First Nations students - Wednesday 14th August 9:30am-11:30am. Parent Session 9:30AM - 10AM. Great Start program for EALD students - Wednesday 28th August 9:30am to 11:30am. Parent session 9:30AM - 10AM. |
| Term 3 | Masterclasses for Year 6 students will run throughout term 3. More information will be sent to families via their Year 6 teacher. |
| 2nd - 13th September | Head Teacher of Teaching and Learning will visit Year 6 classes to collect elective selection forms. Non partner primary school families are asked to return their forms via email. For more details please see our elective selection information page. |
| Thursday 19th September 2024 | Brightsparks workshop for successful ASPIRE 2025 applicants. |

| Weeks 2-5 (October 22nd, 29th Nov & 5th and 12th Dec) | Great Start program for students with a Special Education enrolment. |
| Thursday 21 November 2024 | Minisparks workshop for high potential students in Year 3-5 at partner primary schools. |
| Tuesday 3rd December 2024 | Orientation Day for Year 6 students as well as Year 7 2025 Parent Welcome Session from 9am to 10:30am (including opportunity for uniform sizing, help with Tech requirements for laptops, completing all required permission notes etc) |
| Friday 8th December 2024 | Morning tea for Aboriginal families - an opportunity to met our Aboriginal Education team. |
ASPIRE High Achiever's Program

Applications for the 2025 ASPIRE class close on Friday 29th March 2024. ASPIRE interviews will take place in weeks 2-5 of term 2.
Year 7 Electives
Callaghan Waratah's Year 7 elective program offers students the chance to explore and discover beyond the standard Year 7 subjects and get a ‘taste’ of what they might like to study in later years of high school. For more information visit our Year 6-7 taster electives page.
How to Enrol
Apply online. If you are an Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident you are eligible to complete the online enrolment application. You will then need to finalise the application at the school.
If you are not eligible or prefer not to enrol online, use the application to enrol (PDF 768.4KB) form. Please complete the form in English. A translated application to enrol may help you do this.

Year 7 orientation booklet
