Waratah Campus Athletics Carnival

All students are expected to participate in this fun-filled event and parents and supporters are welcome to attend.

Cost: $5 (payable on the day).

Transport: Buses will depart school at 8:45am and be return to school by 2:55pm. Students also have the option of travelling to and from the venue via private transport. Rolls will be marked at the athletics track at the start and the finish of the day.

Events include: long jump, high jump, discus, shot put, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m and 1500m. There will also be relay race against the teachers if time permits.

What to wear: wear clothing and footwear which is appropriate for participation in track and field events. Thongs and sandals are not permitted. Please bring sunscreen and a hat.

Canteen: There is a canteen available at the centre, however it is advisable that students bring food and drinks from home as time for going to the canteen is limited and the queues are often long.
