CCWTC's best result ever in the Science and Engineering Challenge
12 Aug 2019
A group of our Year 9 and 10 students participated in an exhilarating day of science at the University of Newcastle, competing against other schools in a number of hands-on STEM activities - building a bridge that can withstand dynamic force, using circuits to build light displays and creating an environmentally friendly house.
Points were awarded based on performance in each challenge.
CCWTC won the bridge building challenge and finished 4th in overall points - our best result ever!
A huge congratulations to the entire team and a special mention to Aliyah and Samantha whose bridge withstood the largest mass.
