Year 7s headed to Sydney in Week 10 for a Science study trip to Taronga Zoo. The trip gave them an insight into the real world application of what they’ve been learning in the classroom about classification of organisms, particularly how it is used within zoology, biology and ecology.
The students had a wonderful time - catching both the Seal and Elephant shows, in addition to the general entry exhibits.
Thank you to the Newcastle Old Boys Association for generously supporting this excursion by covering the cost of entry for our students.
A huge thank you also goes to Ms Hurn for organising the trip.
