Waratah Campus is introducing a new timetable and school routine next year as part of our journey to transform learning at our school.
Here is a snapshot of the main changes:
- The new campus timetable continues to operate on a ten-day cycle – Week A (Day 1 - 5) and Week B (Day 6 - 10).
- Each school day is broken up into 4 lessons, lunch and 2 x 15 minute breaks.
- Lessons are 75min in length on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 60min on Wednedays.
- Every Wednesday there is a whole school assembly immediately after roll call (this replaces Monday assemblies).
- For Year 7 and 8, assembly is followed by two periods of school sport, then two other lessons.
- For Year 9 and 10, assembly is followed by two lessons and then two periods of school sport.
- The school day finishes at 2pm on a Wednesday for all students.
- Students wear sport uniform to school all day on Wednesdays.
- School commences at 8:50am Monday to Friday. The school day concludes at 3:00pm every day except Wednesday when it finishes at 2:00pm.
